Last week I had news that The Gallery Companion podcast has been shortlisted for the Independent Podcast Awards 2023. Wahooo! The awards celebrate all those small indie podcasters who don’t have mega-budgets, or podcast production companies behind them, or celeb hosts. It’s for folks like me who create content in our backrooms in our spare time. I’m pretty pleased. I’ll let you know when if I win.
If you haven’t yet listened to my podcast you can find it on Apple, Spotify or search for the The Gallery Companion on your podcast player. The content is the same as what you read in this newsletter, but if you prefer to listen then follow the podcast.
I haven’t posted anything to you for a while because I have various other exciting projects that are taking up quite a lot of my time at the moment. But I will be back with more Gallery Companion writing/podcasting very soon. I’ve got some subjects lined up that I’m going to tackle including artificial intelligence, post-humanism, just how lovely dogs are, social mobility and barriers to getting on in this world, the invisibility of older women, how to keep the faith in the climate crisis and more. If there are any topics or artists you would like me to talk about let me know in the comments.
As always thank you for reading, and please please please follow my podcast and share my newsletter with other artists, creatives and friends who you think would be interested in it. Word of mouth recommendation is 100% the best way for me to keep this little ship sailing.
Congratulations! Well deserved. Sorry I'm late to the celebratory comments.
Fantastic news. Congratulations!
